WILLINGDON 2
A fantastic start to the season for the year 8 girls, despite losing a key figure in the team through injury (Kayla McCarthy); we can finally say that all the hard work and practicing has paid off.
Some short sharp passing saw ETC outwit Willingdon on a number of occasions, with a little more patience and control when shooting we could have overtaken them in the 1st half. Every ETC player gave 100% not only in attack but also in defence, which at times has been our weakness. The second half saw ETC take their chances in attack to equal Willingdons score. Movement off the ball has improved substantially and confidence within the squad is growing all the time. Some key performances came from Abbie Sanders, Yasmin Scott and Holly Marshall, but every player performed excellently.
Well done to Jordanna Quinnell, Rhianna Hagger, Abbie Sanders, Holly Marshall, Holly Carter, Yasmin Scott, Lola Whittaker.
