TIDEWAY 24
ETC 25
ETC did well to keep their cool in their first game of the season and register a win as the conditions and opponents were not helpful. The first quarter was played in their sports hall, but due to the slippery surface the game had to be moved to a sports hall with no line markings! In addition the Tideway team were very undisciplined and committed many fouls, but ETC were poor from the free throw line. Despite this, ETC stayed marginally in front for the whole match and eventually won 25-24.

The senior team got their season off to a winning start against Cavendish. This will not be our strongest challenge however it gave the boys a chance to gel as two year groups form one team. A sign of dominance was the fact that all 12 of our players scored and had a lot of court time.
Coach Bowles warned his team that against stronger schools we need to score our lay-ups and our free throws. Bowles was happy with the performance but would like to have seen 100 points scored.
